Hospital Staff - Veterinary Technicians

Donna Deflatto has cared for pets as a registered veterinary technician at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 1995. She enjoys working at the clinic because of the focus on the well-being of pets and the honest, ethical treatment of owners. A jogger since the mid-1970s, Donna also shares her home with three dogs, Nina, Lola and Stevie.

Katie Stroth is a registered veterinary technician licensed in the state of Kansas. She joined the Cherokee Animal Clinic staff in 1999 and is proud to be part of the closely-knit hospital family. Her animal companions are a cat named Jasmyn and a Doberman-mix named Isabella. When she's not at work, Katie likes listening to music and trying new recipies.

Registered veterinary technician Melinda Steffens has helped care for pets at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 2006. She enjoys working at the clinic because of the professionalism and the excellent medicine practiced by the veterinarians and staff. Her home is filled with pets, including two Dachshunds named Pepsi and Molly, a mixed-breed named Shorty, and three cats, Cora, Pivot and Elly. Reading and going to yard sales and flea markets are among her many hobbies.

Melody Page has been a registered veterinary technician at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 2008, after serving as an assistant since 2005. She is proud of the high-quality medicine practiced at the hospital and enjoys working with clients who really care about their pets. In her spare time, Melody enjoys reading, solving puzzles and cross-stitching. She shares her home with a dog named Kira and a cat named Harley.
