Hospital Staff - Veterinary Support Staff

A veterinary assistant and cat groomer at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 1990, Patty Arensberg loves working with pets and considers Cherokee to be her home away from home. Her spare time belongs to her four grandchildren. Her animal companions include two dogs, Micha, a Boxer, and Stewart, a mixed breed.

Veterinary assistant Janet Wotipka has helped care for pets at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 1997. She is glad to be part of a staff that truly cares about clients and their pets. Janet's hobbies include gardening and fishing. She spends her free time with her husband and two sons, as well as her pets. The family shares their home with two dogs, Josey and Mya, a cat named Nikki and a Cockatiel named Coco.

Jessica Quinn has been a veterinary assistant at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 2007. She enjoys being part of the thorough, sincere staff that cares for pets at the hospital. Jessica is currently studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician at Maple Woods and when she's not doing school work, she enjoys watching movies and playing with her dogs Kirra, a Golden Retriever, and Lina, a yellow Labrador.

Jamie Smith has been an assistant at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 2009. She enjoys working with the team and giving special care to our patients. Jamie is currently in vet tech school at Maple Woods and will graduate in 2012. In her spare time she likes reading, dancing, and walking with her 2 dogs Rocco, a puggle, and Enzo, a mixed breed.

Tari joined the Cherokee Animal Clinic staff in October 2009. She has groomed dogs professionally since the early 1990s. She shares her home with several animal companions: three dogs named Tank, Cooper and Lola; three cats named Simba, Milton and Snickers; and two birds, Polly and Peeps. When Tari is not tending to her menagerie, she enjoys reading and gardening.

Part-time professional pet stylist Hillary Bixby has helped pets look their best at Cherokee Animal Clinic since 2007. She enjoys working with the clinic staff because of their dedication to each pet's health. Hillary spends her free time playing with her toddler son, Jace. She also enjoys reading, catching up on TV shows and going for hikes with her dogs, Dexter and Nemosh.
